I need to start blogging more often. I am so busy at work and by the time I get home all I wanna do it change in my comfy clothes and zone out watching tv. The comp sucks time up. I'm on right now bc I'm letting Russ watch the preseason Cowboys game on the living room tv. The bedroom tv is bigger but he'd have to lay on the bed to watch it and he'd probably fall asleep.
Work... oh what can I say about work. It has done a complete 360 and then and another 180 on top of that. As soon as I get adjusted to one change they add more daily/weekly tasks w/o taking anything away. I go in 1 hr early and leave between 1 1/2 to 3 hrs late almost everyday and still dont get all my work done. Its frustrating but I feel secure in my job at least. My team is ranking well. We were tied for 2nd w/ 2 other teams. Based on points the #1 team had 21 and my team plus 2 others had 20 points. I was also recognized for the highest QA average for the month of July in my system. Very happy about that!
Kelli came and stayed here a for a week. She was supposed to be staying here until she left for Teen Challenge (basically a rehab). The rule was she had to remain sober and it was just temporary. Well she came home Monday night totally wasted. On pills! So everyone else in the house wanted her out but I wouldnt let her leave unless she was going to her moms or my gparents house. She couldnt hardly walk or talk. I wasnt letting her leave like that. Well I let her stay but that was her one and only chance. She was not to come back to this house messed up again. And she wasnt supposed to go out really w/anyone. Period. Well she went out and didnt call anyone. Finally Krystal called her and she said she was just going to spend the night. Krystal told her that she cant stay out all night. Bc as far as we know she got messed up and then is going to come back once she was sober. No ma'am. She can not come and go as she pleases. So we kicked her out. Its hard. But I'm so over her and her addictions. I dont let her problems consume me.
My progress w/ metformin is going well. I am having horrible side effects but I have already starting getting comments asking if I have lost weight. So thats super awesome! That is the best thing ever. I just wish the side effects would hurry up and go away.
Ronnie is gone. He is officially a college freshman. His classes started Wednesday. He is liking it so far. I am actually fixing to call him. The dorm he is supposed to be in was full. Hes on a waiting list for a few more weeks. until then he is in a dorm w/ no A/C!!! In TEXAS!! Crazy!
Anyway Ive been on too long. I'll try to update tomorrow.
